These are the files of accepted invitations requesting the governor's attendance and/or participation. The series consists of letters and formal invitation cards, replies of acceptance, and often letters thanking him for his acceptance. All of the letters to the governor are stamped with a number which corresponds to the correspondence control list created by the governor's file room staff.
